BSA Troop 1276

An organization chart of the Assistant Scoutmasters and  Troop Committee will be located here.  Additionally, job descriptions for the Adults and the Boys will be listed here.

To evolve to a more traditional BSA structure we will attempt to assign Assistant Scoutmasters to new patrols and second year patrols.  Special function Assistant Scoutmasters like Outdoor Activity, Advancement, Troop Guides and Den Chiefs, are assigned.  Thes ASMs will partner with their Troop Committee counterpart as a high performance team.

We still want Adults/Parents to feel welcome to support their son's patrol activities, but most authorities on BSA structure suggest that an Assistant Scoutmaster be assigned to a patrol that his/her son is not in.
